The latest garden talk...

The season is winding down... Most of the tomatoes have been picked and made into spaghetti sauce, salsa, or just eaten plain! I have a load of broccoli, peppers, and onions in the freezer. The squash is just entering harvest, ate some for dinner last week and made the others into baby food for Miss Kendall. The corn was eaten by raccoons =( Every. Single. Cob. Gone.

The sunflowers have grown to about 8 feet tall! The birds love them and they're so pretty.
The watermelons that I thought weren't going to make it are now sporting teeny-tiny little melons =)
Our little pumpkin isn't so little anymore! I'm pretty sure we planted too early and it'll be ready long before October... or we're going to have a prize winning pumpkin on our hands!

The harvest from last week! Everything has been eaten, frozen, or pureed.
