Sara - this is for you!
Each week CVS has items that are free or near free after Extra Care Bucks (ECB's). Some weeks are better than others, obviously. The goal is the spend as little money out of pocket (OOP) as posible and get the most ECB's back. This is a great week to start couponing at CVS!
Here's what I was able to score:
Transaction #1:
Crest ProHealth Toothpaste - $3.50 (used .75 coupon) - get $3.50 back
Crest ProHealth Mouthwash - $3.50 (used .75 coupon) - get $3.50 back
2 packs of "C" batteries - $3.79
Burt's Bees Lip Balm - $2.99 (used $3 Cash Register Tape (CRT) coupon that printed when I scanned my card)
Kiwi Shampoo - $0.99(used $1 CRT on any CVS hair care item)
2 packs CVS cotton swabs - $0.99 (used $1 CRT on any two first aid items)
Reese Pieces $0.89 (needed to get my total over my ECB amount)
Right Gaurd Deodorant - $2.99 - Get $2 back
Total Pre-Coupons - $19.64 plus tax
Total after coupons - $13.14
Used $13 in ECB's from previous weeks
Paid $0.14 + Tax ($1.19) = $1.33 OOP
Received $7 in ECB's back for the Crest to use next week and $2 from Rightgaurd!
